John Wayne essentially played John Wayne in every movie he was in. Now, he was able to translate that into a lot of watchable movies.
I’ve seen Queen Latifa in a few movies that were good where she essentially played herself. Same with Seth Rogen, Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, Paul Rudd, Mark Wahlberg, and a whole host of others. Ice T is the same guy on Law & Order SUV as he was in Surviving the Game and Ricochet..Ice T. Some adapt to More types of stories better than others. Some can carry the story where as some are better in a small supporting role.
I thought you were going to name Elvis because, although I was not born yet when he died, I did see a few movies of his when I was a kid and he would put someone like Denzel Washington or Al Pacino to shame. :sarcasm:
What's that movie with Steve Martin & Queen Latifa? That was a pretty funny movie.
