I might be remembering it incorrectly, but I think the shoe print wasn't determined to be OJ's until the civil trial. Yes, they had the imprint and approximate size, and they knew it was a Bruno Magli shoe but they couldn't connect them to OJ.
It was the civil trial that found the picture of OJ wearing Bruno Magli shoes.
Again, it's been 30 years.
You are correct. They didn't identify the shoes as his until the civil trial when they found a picture of him wearing the shoes. I don't think the question is about the criminal trial, but whether you believe him to be innocent. The shoe picture was icing on the guilt cake for me.
The criminal case was botched badly so I wasn't surprised by the verdict. Law enforcement and the prosecution lost that case, but I believe he was guilty or he was on the scene at some point, at the very least.

O.J. Simpson was an abusive liar who abandoned his community long before he killed two people in cold blood. His acquittal for murder was the correct and necessary result of a racist criminal legal system.

As my mom stated, most black people figured that OJ may have been guilty at the time. But after the Rodney King trial, they just wanted a victory real bad at the time. People were already gearing up to riot. She watched the trial and was convinced he was guilty, but she couldn't help but celebrate also. Kind of fricked up in hindsight.
The way I see it, from Rodney King to OJ connection, 2 wrongs do not make a right.

OJ Simpson didn't kill Nicole and Ron. It was his son, Jason.

I’ve always believed this, but thank you for confirming.
I was doing my student teaching at a high school that was about 50/50 racially when the trial took place. On the day of the verdict, every television in the school was tuned in. When not guilty was announced, EVERY black student was cheering, yelling, and jumping around. EVERY white student just remained in their seats with a stunned, incredulous expression on their faces. One of the most unique social phenomenons I’ve ever witnessed.

If Rodney King does not happen, OJ goes to jail.
3 black female jurors were interviewed years later and they admitted that OJ was guilty likely, but they acquitted for what amounts to revenge against whitey.

Robert Barnes, big time lawyer / lawtube Podcaster, thinks he didn't do it. I've heard him talk about it, but don't think he's done an episode about it. If I remember correctly he thinks the time line doesn't work and there should have been more blood in the Bronco or something like that. I was pretty surprised to hear him say that.

able to plant the seed of doubt in the jurors.
Had nothing to do with it. They acquitted him because he was black.

The LAPD was pretty sloppy.
Part of it was that forensics/DNA was pretty new.
They didn't know how to properly handle evidence.
Defense tore them apart.
But, yeah OJ was guilty as frick.

Is there anyone who actually thinks that OJ was innocent?

Even in real life, I haven't talked to a single person who thinks he is innocent(and I'm black).
Then why were so many black people cheering when this murderer walked free? Is it solely because he killed white people and got away with it?

If I was innocent of murdering someone, I wouldn’t be running from the cops with makeup adhesive, a fake mustache, goatee, cash, passport and a gun in vehicle.

I must be the only one who thinks he didn’t kill them

That night with the police chase was crazy. Everyone remembers where they were.
I kept up with trial but didn’t actually watch it.

I think your recollection is mostly correct. Those shoes were incredibly rare. 299 total pairs sold in the US at the time and I think 9% were size 12 in that size (they were sure of the size by my recollection).
