Not sure but I was able to get tickets so I’m taking my 7 year old daughter. My ex (her mom) offered to bring her but I told her I’m good, I’ll go to find her a stepmom there.

What's weird about her career is that she seems to get bigger as she ages.
Musicians, especially pop stars, are normally like NFL running backs - an explosive peak, a rapid decline and then they fade off into the autograph show/nostalgia gig phase.
Probably says more about the gaping void in music over the last 10 years than it does her talent. Although to her credit she has a reputation as a tireless worker who is wonderful and generous to the team and bandmates that support her. That probably helps. Past superstars developed insufferable egos, addictions, personality problems and imploded on themselves regardless of how empty the song well was.

Because her fanbase was high schoolers when she first started out (as a high schooler herself), many of which now in their 30’s have kids of their own who are exposed to and like T Swift because of their moms/parents.
This applies to my wife and kids lol. Her music isn’t really my cup of tea but she not some terrible person or anything.
She has some of the biggest shine and some of the biggest hate as a mega global superstar. Starting threads like this just adds to the “Taylor Swift Phenomenon”

I only recently heard of her maybe 3 years ago and i'm 45.
I think there's 2 logical explanations. She's the Madonna or someone similar of my generation.
There's not many other singers the young girls can idolize who's clean. I've been surprised the free media promotes her getting with a white masculine football player. My last girlfriend thinks he's gay and it's all staged tho

And when trump called them off they left laughing like it was a day at the county fair.
They took the American flag off the capitol, threw it on the ground, and hung a trump flag up where it was, broke windows out and tried to hang the vice president. That’s what used to be called treason and was severely punished. I can’t believe what a weak response that got.

Like her or not / like her music or not, you have to respect her.
She isn’t like a 1 album / 1 song hit and bust - she has been around for 15 years across multiple genres.
Yeah, the Travis Kelce stuff is annoying but it isn’t like she is out there asking for the publicity or making statements drawing attention to herself?

I simply matched the energy he came at me with. Same way I treat my family and friends.
I won’t raise my voice at you unless you come at me that way first. It’s fair to match someone’s energy if they get ugly and come at you sideways first.
He’s correct in saying I don’t have to listen to Taylor Swift, but he also doesn’t have to read my thread or comment on it for that matter.

Agreed. I doubt most of these comments are even from Louisianians. Its coming from the government's propaganda machine.
Taylor Swift and pop culture are a distraction from the real issues. That's the only reason they exist. Neither party is representing the public anymore. One day we will have "glasnost" just like the Soviet Union in the late 80's and it will prove that our system isn't much different.
