Not a thing in the Advocate today about this. But the front page does have a nice writeup about an arrest in the Jan 6 Capitol storming

I remember that, I remember thinking about that, the killer is probably a regular customer at the store and he knew that the clerk could identify him.

There is zero regards for life nowadays. People get gunned down for "disrespect" all the time it seems, with no care if a bystander is caught in the crossfire. Hell BR had a teenager shot just yesterday. As far as why not just rob the guy and let him go, seems there has been a shift in mentality lately. It's why I wouldn't go wandering around New Orleans anymore. Used to be if you went somewhere you weren't supposed to be, you'd get a gun pulled on you and relieved of your possessions but leave unharmed. Now they would just as soon shoot you or knock you over the head and then rob you, if you die you die.

I'm tackling N of the governors mansion and some spots along Choctaw and scenic today if possible.
Thee are just so many spots to dump a body that most normal people never venture.
And most of them take you into the worst parts of the hood.
