have never, ever witnessed a hooker soliciting downtown. It's fricking dead.
I don’t know BR, but he went to a strip club right? I was thinking he met a girl there? May not have even been a stripper working, but he was chatting it up that he was planning to buy some drugs and have a good time if anyone wanted to join him he just needed a drug connection in town as he wasn’t local.

The whole story is starting to sound like the poster (maybe Sampson) who was trying to find his missing brother in California, and then a poster saw his brother on a white underbelly interview in some seedy drug camp…. That story had a good ending apparently, so maybe this one will too????

Can all of the crackheads and meth addicts on here, that are from BR, check their local drug houses for this guy?

Less than 1% chance this guy is alive

If the last seen on video was at or near the greyhound bus station, then it looks like he was taken or got into a vehicle from there or he went or was taken on foot close by to a trap house.
That would explain not being seen anymore in that area or anywhere on video.
Any vehicle that was seen on video near the bus station and also where his phone was found on 7th and Convention street could potentially be the vehicle he was in as the perpes may have thrown the phone out of the window while traveling toward the river on Convention st.

Grey hound bus stations are often times open 24/7. If you were going to meet up with a sleaze ball in a general area to do something like buy drugs at 3am, going into a grey hound bus station wouldn’t be that abnormal I wouldn’t think?
The guy had a rental car, why would he ride a bus somewhere and not just drive?
I’ve ridden a greyhound bus one time from Nashville to Montgomery with a stop in Bham and it was one of the poorest feeling half days of my life. CSB

It has certainly changed in the last few decades. When I was a kid my grandma lived in Conyers.

The more I learn about this guy, the more I think I know his type. It's pretty typical of Protestant white men from rural parts of the Deep South. The various parts of his life are very poorly integrated with each other. There's a constant tug-of-war between the washed-in-the-blood family man he thinks he should be and the porn / meth / weird shite he actually wants. It's good fodder for altar calls, sermons, and other Calvinist histrionics, but ultimately it's profoundly unsatisfying and counterproductive. Growing up in New Orleans, I never really knew this sort of person existed, but once I got out I started running into them everywhere.
Most of those guys have a beer or two now and then or sneak a look at something mildly risque on Netflix. Going on a drug/prostitution bender is something else entirely and goes beyond the typical Saturday Night Sinner, Sunday Morning Saint archetype.

I got family in Covington,Ga. It’s like Mayberry (and it’s pretty awesome, as the matter of fact). This dude has probably been to Atlanta a bunch of times and thinks he knows the dangers of southern metro cities.
BR is a different kind of ratchet ghetto shite.
Posted on 3/5/23 at 6:38 pm to Giantkiller
Exactly. BR doesn’t have street smart criminals. Just dumb mfers like their mayor.

He more than likely got some fetty laced coke and OD’d somewhere. Just a matter of finding a body at this point.

Certainly seems like that could have happened.
If he overdosed in a trap house or while in a vehicle with the drug dealers they needed to get rid of the body and dumped him somewhere not easily found by smell or site.
They know if they get tied to an overdose they can be criminally charged.
If he overdosed randomly on the streets or around some buildings the smell would probably have led to someone finding him by now.

I’m heavily involved in the local multifamily construction game and I’ve never heard of them.

Why do people think some blue collar man is buying hard drugs and doing them in a trap house?
Guy had the means to Uber around town, had a hotel room for the night. Paid for strippers & drinks. He ain’t laying on a sofa in a trap house to shoot up. he doesn’t need to.
