Those pics with MR Blue Shirt look awfully lot like someone concerned and asking questions while looking at something on their phone while the other person is persuading them into something.
Could be a prostitute Mr Blue shirt is procuring or pretending to procure.
What if they left Happys and "blue shirt" says follow me a couple blocks to an apartment where you can frick a whore.
On the way, Victim is looking at pictures of said hooker on his phone. But first Victim stops at hotel to grab some rubbers, follows Blue Shirt out of the hotel, to an ATM to get money for said hooker, then get's popped and dumped.
I got a wild imagination.
He was probably buying basketball tickets in those photos.

I wouldn’t consider downtown BR dangerous… probably ain’t the safest place in the world… but it ain’t to the point you can’t walk around

Is this the same footage that is referenced previously? If so, then that seems extremely suspicious. Maybe they had nothing to hold the guy on, but he's still a suspect?
I'd like to know how BRPD tracked the black guy down. It could also be mistaken identity by BRPD.

This is interesting. From Happy's attorney.

Becky needs to elaborate as to why she believed the man was drunk.

A little tipsy, unfamiliar city, late at night. He gets turned around, pretty soon he's in a sketchy area.
Anything is possible, but we aren't exactly talking about a long walk with multiple turns from bar to hotel. It's literally one block in a straight line.
If he walks out the front door of Happy's and (erroneously) makes a left, he quickly gets to the open space/park in front of the new library. I think one would notice pretty quickly that is not where his hotel is.
His hotel was next to a pretty identifiable landmark. The old Richeaux's building with the Coke sign. Certainly you can foresee an out of towner getting drunk and turned around a bit, but that was a pretty easy walk from bar to hotel.

Man, how drunk do you need to be to not get served in BR?

Very doubtful, this place is just trying to avoid the "Reggies" situation

That's Happy's Attorney Joe Long. Not an employee. I was mistaken.

Texas! frick yeah!
What would Louisiana do without Texas as a neighbor taking care of business?

What times do the Greyhound buses leave; is it early Thursday am?
My gut feeling is this guy paid the black guy to get the cash out the ATM for him. (Didn’t want to be on camera, but still was in the frame farther away)
Why would they release the black guy after questioning?
Then I think he dumped his things (phone, cards) kept only the cash and his ID
Bought the bus ticket with cash-possibly heading to Houston or whatever cities the buses are going.
Check the schedules—check the arriving cameras in those cities.
My feeling is he wanted to disappear and wasn’t robbed/murdered.

You know what I usually do with “Clients”/“Business Associates”?
I meet them in the Lobby of the Hotel. I don’t need them to ride up in an elevator to my room.
So, I got to be the guy. Who recognizes Mr. Blue shirt “Client”?
He has to be the #1 Suspect.
Again, if I am a restaurant or hotel owner on 3rd Street. I am livid that people are letting the narrative live that he was abducted on that street and I would be waging my own PR campaign that it is not what happened.

Why would they release the black guy after questioning?
What could have the black guy have told them that would overcome actual photographic proof of a crime being committed?

The phone, wallet, and all the video in the area, should be giving investigator a good idea by now of what occurred.
Do they have cadaver dogs out in the area and boots on the ground?
