“Belief” and action are 2 totally separate things. The people who commit acts of violence are the true believers. They’re mentally insane, no amount of surveillance will weed all of them out. The scholars on social media are a laughingstock. They’re internet badasses. Most of these attacks in the USA are of the lone gunman type. Honestly, how do you stop that, unless we’re gonna go all Tom Cruise in Minority Report on them. I guess I choose not to live my life in fear. I’ve lived in the Deep South my entire life, and I’m talking rural, and I just don’t see these groups as prevalent. I know, I know, it’s anecdotal, but if I would want to join a supremacist group, I wouldn’t know where to start. Honestly? I probably start on Tigerdroppings.com to point me in the right or wrong direction.

I think the bar of what is called “white supremacy” has been lowered to such a ridiculous scale that to some it appears as a growing movement.
Simply believing hiring/college quotas are wrong and stating FBI crime stats is enough to be called a white supremacist.
Hell, not standing 100% behind that half white, privileged former NFL QB is enough to get branded.
It’s all very ridiculous and not getting better.

I think both sides play a part in it. The only social media I use is twitter, mostly for sports, but I do see just as much right leaning propaganda as I do left leaning propaganda. It's sad, because both sides are at each other's throats.

correct. but beliefs lead one to fear, and fear does lead to action.
all people are prejudice towards others based on numerous factors, and one of them is race. it's not a good thing, but it's part of the reason why we've survived for 150k years.
good people recognize that trait and the fact that it's often irrational and don't let it control the way they treat others. bad people let it control them and consume them because they are unhappy with themselves and want others to be unhappy, too.
i've never met a racist who was happy with their lives and the choices they've made.

Union workers who would get their sample ballots in the mail, from their unions, suggesting who they should vote for.. But the second Obama became the presidential candidate for the Democratic party for the 08 election, those same people no longer voted for democrats.
I think someone mentioned something about the line of what is defined as white supremacist has been drawn lower..
