This. I bought mine in 2008. I have never had a problem with mine. It still starts on the third or fourth pull

They make bars and chain replacements for this very reason.
Just replace the bar and chain. Nothing lasts forever, especially Chinese and Mexican crap that you buy today.
Now if the motor is fricked, your fricked waiting for warranty service or you can got to an authorized repair facility and pay approximately more than half the cost to buy it to repair it.

The OT…you’re a pussy if you don’t (fill in that job) yourself.
Also the OT…you’re poor if you don’t hire someone to (fill in that job)

NGL it’s top 3 tool that pisses me the frick off. I’m getting angry thinking about it

In the same vein, the snowblower.

an old man tip—buy a saw with a big motor. I have a Husqvarna considered a pro saw I think. It has a 78cc motor and makes sawing SO much easier. It cost me around $1000. I think it has a 30 inch bar.
It’s not the bar that is important but the motor is.

My 80 volt electric is a beast, and I don’t need hearing protection to run it.

I use a ryobi weed eater and I never have any problems. Always fires up. I have a stihl 250. Most of the problems I come upon is when I get it stuck, which is me being a dumbass..

I have had 2 echos for 8 years. I’ve probably cut down and cut up dozens of trees. I’ve never had a problem with them. When I started, I replaced the chains, but now I sharpen them myself. It’s easy. If you keep the chain taut and sharp you won’t have any problems. Don’t blame the machine.

I bought the 40v Ryobi lithium to build brush piles on the lake at night. Its clean on the boat and silent. Works great.
Its great for trimming things around the house. I just dont need a gas powered one for what I do. Same with a blower. I just use it around the pool and on the driveway. Simple and clean
