I have a bunch of gas saws but I wasn’t using them enough and engines kept giving me trouble so I got an ego saw and I use it much more because it always works

Agreed. Unless you crack the block you can buy complete rebuild kits off amazon for cheap and keep it running forever.

I still have an 025, the predecessor to the ms250, it still cuts far above its weight. You may be awhile waiting on the ms250 to die.

At one time I had 4 of those peckerwoods in my shed. I would tune them up and they would run fine for a while and then they would have to be tuned up again. I gave them away. I bought a small Stihl it has worked ok so far.
Now if I can use the saw on the damn squirrels to keep them from planting new trees...

Bought a small Stihl saw because I got tired of borrowing from friends. Great for cutting small trees, limbs and such. When Laura hit I had two tall pines on my garage and that fricker was gold. Damn near had a heat stroke, that bad boy wouldn't quit unless it ran out of gas. Also have a Stihl WE. Had some issues early and the dealer I bought it from asked how I used it? I said on just small crap around trees and such. Don't even use it at 1/2 speed. He said there's your problem. When you use em, use em at 100%

Why do you have stihl weed eaters and an echo chainsaw? You have your shite backwards. Stihl is the best for chainsaws. Not going to say echo is the best for weed eaters, but they aren't bad. I didn't even know they made chainsaws.

I have a stihl combo tool with the weed eater and pole saw attachments. Had it for 5 years with zero issues.
