Obviously single if I go days without seeing anyone. I hate most people, but I have a few very close friends I spend the weekends with.

I've seen several friends lose dogs to heart worms bc they didn't give the pills. Heartbreaking. Sounds like your heart would be just fine.

Well for all I know the SO stays chained up in your basement on those days you don't want to deal with people.

I'd be sad, sure, but I'd go on with my life. She's old. I've been mentally prepared for her to die for years.

No excuses to not give ur dog his heart worm pills. And i hope they feel good about killing their dog.

For christ sake, u give them 1 pill a month, were not talking about rocket science.

Here's a genius ideal for those who think it's hard to give dogs medicine. How about putting it on ur calendar?? I know, hard shite, eh?

Now you can just do the shot...lasts 6 months.

Shot is like $30 for my pug and maybe $40 for my lab.

At nearly 14 years old, if there is something obviously wrong with my dog, I'm just going to put her down rather than pay for my vet's kids to go to college.

And we are rapidly approaching the day when you will be charged with murder because of it.

Some of the smartest people in the world (book smart) are eschewing kids in favor of pets, which they treat better than their own immediate family. I enjoy my animals, but I'll be damned if I treat them better than blood or let idiocracy come about because of them.

Seatbelts are also a scam. You should stop wearing them.

I wouldn't feel badly about myself if my dog got heart worms. I would in no way feel guilty. That's life and, again, she's old.

I don't own any pets. I like animals well enough, just don't understand how so many people put an animal's life above a human's.

Knee surgery:

Vet: $2000
M.D.: $20,000

Same rigorous medical education.

The vet is the scam?

I got a pet and then realized it would be expensive to have a pet! It's someone else's fault!

Have a kid, jackass. Then you'll understand what expensive is.

ETA: Have no kids, have two dogs. Sometimes expenses come up. For the most part they cost nothing but some treats, a couple toys, and a large bag of food per month.
