^ this. and i've checked out jet and some other sites. you can sometimes find a better deal than amazon, but when you factor in 2 day shipping, generous return policy and overall good service, it is usually worth it to me to just order from amazon.
i looked into jet, but there selection isn't big enough for me to justify paying the fee to them. it should tell you how good amazon is when jet's entire business model is trying to beat amazon on price

And that's fine but your choosing waiting longer and paying more for the same shite. Now Amazon has other qualities that are obviously better but this was in response to pricing being good on Amazon which it is not.

thit shite only happens in soft money environments. stock that go up in hard moeny environments are things like construction companies with capital goods. You want these capital goods, not some marketing goofballs. Nobody wants a CD and a book
amazon only worries about keeping stock prices high so they can pay employees with stock options instead of salaries. almost all the products they've released have been undercutting POS failures. shareholders will eventually get tired of stocks that dont generate profits. it will be the greatest short ever. just biding my time
everyone says bezos is a genius mastermind. he's a mastermind, alright....a mastermind of stock promotion. in a market that lets you thrive without making money, i guess he is a genius. legal ponzi scheme

I'm pretty sure Amazon has posted profits since Q4 of 2014. Margins aren't great though.

Amazon is great for the consumer, but I heard they're not such a great company to work for.
I'd include L.L. Bean, The Container Store, REI, Costco, HEB.
Businesses that consumers love, but also the employees.

wal mart does not have better prices than amazon on a lot of things. maybe actual food items, sure.
but keep in mind. you don't pay tax on amazon. not in louisiana at least.. and no shipping.. so even when wal-marts prices are the exact same.. you still pay tax.. which larger items can be a significant difference in spending..
walmart is still even more of a hassle to return things. amazon's return still trumps walmart. doesn't matter how often or how much, never have to show any id, etc.
amazon prime is the absolute truth.
also, the selection at our local wal-marts are absolute crap. you have to take time to find it and even then they typically don't care many of the items i buy online. amazon has dang near anything and everything.. and the people's reviews are very helpful in determining which product to buy. i can definitely determine the real reviews and most helpful.

I have been using Amazon for years buying things and returned a few things on occasion. I have never had to talk to anyone.

Before I buy just about anything now, I ask myself, "Am I really going to need it today or tomorrow?" The answer is almost always "no," so I just order it on Amazon.And their prices are almost always better than what they are locally - and since I'm a baller, I don't have to sweat a few bucks here and there if they are not.
