I'd go with Chick-fil-a or Costco since they actually treat their employees like humans.

Do you even check their pricing? Far from low pricing. Convenience maybe, but they are high on alot of things. Guess they gotta be with all that 'free' shipping.

This. You can take a short ride to Walmart and get anything that that they both sell for cheaper or if you don't want to go into Walmart you can order it online and free shipping for any orders over $50. I do love Amazon though for other items that I can't find

overnight shipping is more expensive for all items. Something I almost bought this week would have been $8.99 for overnig

Are you seriously bitching about paying $8.99 for an overnight package?

In terms of customer service, I've never experienced anything like what American Express has.

I'm with you on that one.

So what if it's 4 days instead of 2?

Also, I think Amazon dealing with the USPS was a deal cut to keep taxes away.

Their customer service is amazing. You can call at any hour and be on the phone with an actual human almost immediately. They will also refund just about anything within reason

The funny thing is that I have prime but I'm constantly taking their $5 credits to NOT get the 2 day shipping. So it's like they're paying me to have access to Prime but only use it for the 2 or 3 times i really need it

My ONLY bad experience with Amazon through all my transactions over the years was due to the idiots at the USPS. I contacted Amazon and emphatically insisted that my profile carry a note that said NO to anything via USPS.

I pass two walmarts twice a day on my way to and from my office. If I can wait two days for something, I'm orderin from Amazon rather than stopping at either of those walmarts.

First of all, it isn't only $8.99 for overnight shipping when you pay $99/ year for a membership that the main benefit is shipping. Secondly I'm not bitching about the $8.99 for overnight. I'm pointing out that Amazon is creeping prices up and slowing down shipping. It used to be that you could buy something on Thursday and 2 day shipping would have it delivered on Saturday. Now Saturday isn't counted as a normal shipping day. They started charging a few bucks for Saturday delivery and recently increased that fee again.

I still buy a lot from Amazon bc in many respects it is still better than any other option. I was simply pointing out that it isn't quite the bargain it was in the past. Amazon used to be about price and cheap, fast shipping. The prices aren't really cheap anymore and the shipping (still fast) isn't as cheap as it once was.

I get Sunday delivery from Amazon with no extra fees

Not to mention that some sellers sell the same product, but the one available for prime shipping usually costs more.
