Dear god, those are horrific
I know a few guys who started rocking the dress shoe with a casual sole look, but it was always for comfort, not to make a fashion statement.
Yikes…

White soled shoes for a boat.
Otherwise, never.

I get why someone doesn't want to wear some concrete sole Allen Edmonds or Johnston & Murphy. I just don't understand why you can't get a comfortable Ecco or Cole Haan dress shoe without the white sole. It's needlessly calling attention to you.

Only exception is I will wear a pair of gray Cole Haans with a white sole with jeans or chinos when I dress casual on Fridays.
The white sole just doesn’t go with brown or black dress shoes.

I have a couple of pair but it's getting to the point were it seems everyone has them.
I haven't bought any yet, so no it's not past the peak quite yet.

Not a good look for legit business attire where a suit is the everyday outfit (lawyer, accountant, etc).
I’ve been in the accounting world for 20 years now, and hardly anyone wears a suit anymore. Most don’t even wear dressier slacks and shirts. It’s all casual these days except for the stuffy corporate offices.

The same dudes that wear these are the same dudes who wear on clouds.

It’s overdone imo. But does look good w a more casual pair of slacks w up to a sportscast. I don’t like the look w a suit. Unless you are a sportscaster.

I wear my white sole Cole Haan oxfords with my 5-pocket performance pants almost every day. Don’t give a rip what other people think.

If you search Ecco and Rockport...same material but in dark colors.

Today I’m wearing Levi’s 501 jeans with my blue Puma Super Ligas.

Yikes! That's like putting white walls on your car.

That's my office look too...when I go in. But I need a new pair of shoes and thinking of going to this:
I like a dressier shoe with casual cloths.

Rubber-soled dress shoes are one thing but the white wedges shown above have always been an abomination. It is one thing for a 20 something to wear them and quite another for a 30+ year old wearing them in a professional setting.
I concur. Rubber soled dress shoes are a must in the north where ice is prevalent (I learned this after doing the Curley shuffle several times in traditional leather soled dress shoes). I think those white bottoms are for try hards. In a business setting, white soled shoes and too tight and too short dress slacks are laughable.
