Is the insurance give-back the first positive thing to ever come out of social media?

Have you ever know insurance companies to give people a break? So a 10% rate increase across the board coming in 3Q2020?

I own an insurance agency.
While it’s good publicity and all, what these carriers are giving back ain’t shite.
Losses have decreased nearly 75%.
They’re giving back 15-20% for two months.
Believe me, they’re still making record profits.
I’m happy they’re giving back and all, and some people really need it, but it’s not as much as social media is exclaiming.
Fun fact: no commissions are cut with the giveback.

I got $8 back. frick them.
“Every member with an auto insurance policy in effect as of March 31, 2020, will receive a 20% credit on two months of premiums in the coming weeks.”
I only got a B in Finance but 20% of $790/month is not $8.

When are health insurance companies going to return the vast profits they are generating? Customer premiums stay the same, while use of health services has dramatically declined in the last three months. There does not seem to be much change coming soon.

You'll get a credit in June. State Farm is giving back 2 Billion dollars to mutual policyholders.
