It’s up there, but I have to think Alexander the Great’s conquest is the GOAT

Pretty fricking wild. It was definitely the moment that an extremely strong empire became known for being pussies.

The daring raid by John Winger and Russell Ziskey into Czechoslovakia to rescue captured American soldiers from the Eastern European Soviet Bloc beats the fall of those feckless frogs.

The reason the French gave is even more sad. The decision was made after watching the destruction from WW1 and their indecisiveness to attack German columns that broke ranks before armor showed up led to retreat. After retreat, the French decided to “preserve the arts & decor” of the city by surrendering Paris to the Germans. Even the Resistance was a chicken shite operation that more folks in the farmland participated than in the city had the balls to at least challenge the Germans or help the allies. frick France they deserve their muzzie takeover.

Ah, French surrender monkeys and Russian winter, the 2 main crutches for history newbs. France had old tech and their generals still relied on WW1 doctrine. Meanwhile the Nazis were constantly working on the latest and greatest in military strategy and technology. I’d say the rapid expansion of the Mongols or Alexander’s conquests into India are more impressive feats.

oh hell no, france was just a giant screwup where cucks were running it and begged for a chance not to fight

maybe it goes down in the least resistance ever offered by a country that got invaded? the germans just drove in and said we win and the pussies running france just said "ok"

Meanwhile you had De’Gaulle taking all of the credit for what the Americans, British, and Canadians did to drive out the Germans.

Surprised that isn’t mentioned more in history.

The Maginot line was actually very advanced defense technology for it's time. Germany "went around" by going through the Belgium (neutral country).

It's a very cliched and old talking point.
