I reused towels until I moved in with a woman for the first time.... you would have to ask her how many times I use a towel now cause I honestly have no clue.

I only reuse a towel until it has that funky, football locker room type smell

If you travel at all, you will notice hotels in certain parts encourage you to re-use your towels too. It's common and widespread.

I will not use my husband's towel after he uses it because I can't stand to use a wet, cold towel.
However, if the towel was used the day before and left to dry then I will use it the next day. I don't go more than 3-4 days though because I don't want it to start to get a mildew smell or anything.

We only use them once. We have enough that we only have to wash them about once every 7-10 days. Why would you use a towel more than once? Do you only have one?

Quality towels are expensive. I'm not going to buy 14 towels so that two people can go a week without reusing a towel, only to then have to do 3 loads of washing and drying towels.

You guys don't have a towel fairy? I use the same towel until it just disappears and I grab another one out of the pile of clean towels. After a while all the dirty towels appear folded back on the clean towel pile.
