Paid a visit today and was greeted by "Good afternoon", "you're welcome", fast service and a fully correct order. And yes, this is square in the bible belt.

Is this trending?

Name the city you were in. It’ll tell us everything we need to know.

They were recently acquired by Restaurant Brands (think Burger King) and just sold a $750mm bond offering.

It's not just the courtesy that draws me to Chik fil A. So many fast food places in Baton Rouge are just run like absolute shite that just going some place that doesnt screw up my order or isnt filthy is a nice change

It won't matter.

They lack the management expertise to take advantage of this success.

I always get a "Welcome to Popeyes!" That never improves the service time, however.

Went last week and dined in. Lady was courteous while taking my order and food was prompt and hot. I was impressed

I went 2 days ago.

There were out of chicken sandwiches and out of spicy chicken.

If I wanted to wait for 20 minutes, they would have more spicy.

Yup. It's all of it: quality of food, service, cleanliness, accuracy of orders, consistency of food. I don't know of any other fast food chain that comes close to CFA on all of those.

I would be so pumped if the employees stopped acting super hood rat and culcha’ry and actually talk polite for once and heaven forbid actually try and have customer service

They need to capitalize while they’re hot

If the Baton Rouge Burger Kings are any indication, that would just make Popeyes worse.

I seldom go to Popeyes anymore. They don't have chicken ready most of the time. When they have chicken ready, they dig through all of the beautiful chicken and grab out the "white boy pieces" for me.

I can be mistreated at home, for free.

I tried to drive through the Popeyes around the corner to get a 12 piece family meal for the kids. I said I wanted a 12 piece mild and the lady said,

“Would you like to wait?”

“Not really, but about how long will I have to wait?”

“Twenty five minutes for mild.”

“No, I don’t want to wait that long.”

And I drove off. There was no crowd. No one in the line in front of me. It’s a chicken restaurant. Twenty minutes in the drive through for chicken is crazy. They will never overtake any other restaurant.
