Doesn't really seem like Mandela effect is the term that applies. Nevertheless, I had heard the name but never his music. Still don't think I've heard good music. BTW, Oweo is lying. He didn't know who he was until after he died.

Nipsey definitely became a 100x more of a polarizing figure after he passed. I never listened to his music. But i knew him because he was a guy that focused alot on trying to build up communities, owning businesses, etc. He was pretty respected.

Once he was killed all of a sudden folks acted like he was the 2nd coming of Jesus. Folks acted like he was MLk or Malcolm X. His music never touched any radio station, but all of a sudden his music was blasted constantly on the radio.

I didn't understand the extra hype.

Ok, that analogy makes sense. Did he ever put out a banger like "From What I was Told"?

Mandela effect is made up... if he died in jail, he was nothing. No huge funeral with heads of state attending, just a terrorist who died in jail. 50% of the population is below average intelligence, 50% is below average memory. Huge shared areas in a venn diagram.

Do you even know what the Mandela effect is bro?

The Berenstein Bears is the Mandela effect.
Sindbad being in Shazaam is the Mandela effect.

Whether or not Nipsey Hussle's talent posthumously became overrated is not.

I saw him on a TV show and knew about him before he died but I thought he was just an actor who played a "Snoop Dogg" like character. He was good on the show but I didn't find out that he was really a rapper until after he was murdered.

I still haven't heard his stuff. It's like T69 and Bhad Bhabie. I know they're rappers but haven't heard anything from them either. It seems like rappers are like YouTubers there are just so many of of them that its hard to know the peeps with 20k subscribers. You need 3MM subscribers just to register on the RADAR.

I’m confused why anybody would listen to that utter trash genre of “music” voluntarily. It’s absolute trash.

Virtually no one outside of LA or the music industry had ever heard of this dude. People on here saying they had are flat out lying.

it's anybody when they die. You will see people out of the woodworks claiming they know you and writing heartfelt messages.
