The argument being made is that Mississippi has just as good food, fishing, better hunting, lower taxes, lower crime rate and less corrupt politicians.

BSL is a great place to live, can’t comment on the rest of this state.

I'd take Madison Mississippi over anywhere in Louisiana.

Depends on where.

The coast is great. You couldn't pay me to live in Jackson or the delta.

Lower insurance, cheaper housing, still an easy drive to BR for LSU games if you live in the right place.

Oh yeah, and no JBE.

that's like asking if getting hit in the nuts with a hammer is better or worse than getting hit in the nuts with an aluminum baseball bat.

While MS I think has great food, I’ll give LA that they have us beat in that (catfish and tamales we have y’all beat though). Other than that, you make some excellent points.

Don't MS residents have to pay a lot for annual car tags? Like 700-1000+ depending upon your vehicle?

Everywhere has its issues
It’s a shame LA never had anyone to look ahead and build a diverse economy and not rely so much on the oil and gas sector
LA just sat back while watching other large southern cities pass them by
Houston atlanta Nashville Charlotte Austin all passed Baton Rouge and New Orleans by leaps and bounds going back to the 80’s

I'd rather live in Louisiana but it is a midget fight.

Yea, but the Ad Valorem is deductible. It’s based on value, so yes...~$750 for a $50k vehicle.

Now for an MS photo.

You know this may sound crazy, but it depends on the area. Certain parts of La are better than certain parts of Ms and vice versa. Crazy, but true.
