As I have written in these discussions before, we came to Mississippi 15 years ago and enjoy a far far better quality of life than anything we ever had in Louisiana. There is nowhere in Louisiana we would leave here for.
A fair number of former Louisiana residents must agree with me because there is a pretty fair population of them up here. In fact, I'm gonna say we don't really need any more.
If you've never been to north Mississippi, do me a favor and don't come.
But yeah, Jackson is a shithole.

No problem there. I much prefer Mississippi from Laurel and toward the coast. Not crazy about north Mississippi, although I do have a niece and nephew at State.
