Depends on which side you're on. If you're a slimy politician, it ain't looking good.

They’re currently in the kitchen cooking numbers. Ask again in 30 minutes.

What do you think caused it then?

I think when we did the mask order and went back to phase 1.5 the public realized this shite isn’t gone yet and started being more cautious.

Just like when we opened up to phase 2, everyone acted like it was over and the cases spiked again

By every measurable statistic they are getting better.

I’m just glad I don’t have to wash my hands anymore since the virus decided to stop spreading from touching surfaces. Lying motherfrickers.

The peak was already rolling over and they planted the mask mandate flag to falsely toot their own horn.

Real world or government provided "statistics"?

Real world -- In the general population, fairly constant since the beginning. Roughly 1% of the state is sick at any given time. Hot spots here and there, just like any bugs that work their way around. Went through nursing homes in the spring, which made the hospitalizations and deaths peak, but are all now on the downward trend.

Government provided "statistics" - what day is it? Press conference days everything is going up is a skyrocketing fashion.

4 weeks.

Due to the backdating of tests, the peak was shown to be between July 12-16. Basically, you had spread during July 4th and it has been falling since. This was before statewide mask mandates.

How do you NOT know the answer to this? Honest question, like what DO you keep up with, if not this?

Doesn't matter.

We've gone from flattening the curve to no new cases ever so we'll be in some sort of restricted phase for at least the next year.

JBE and SWB must be looking at totally different numbers.
