Just don't visit the Governor's mansion with a black light.

No sir, it was a piano bar not too far from there though.
A few coworkers and I were having drinks and all the sudden a fight broke out. The next thing I know the bartender are jumping over the bar, piano man left his post........everyone in the place was brawling.....patrons....employees.....everyone.
I had to hug the wall to GTFO of there. The fight ended up spilling into the street......I eventually walked away and never saw a cop on the scene.

I agree with this. I like it more than BR but spent significantly less time there

West Little Rock is nice...

I love WLR, I spend way to much at the bars but it's all a lot of fun out there

Little Rock has improved a lot recently. I visited a friend less than a year ago and was really impressed with the downtown area. There's a pedestrian bridge connecting north Little Rock to downtown LR, and a nice riverside area. Lots of new breweries popping up all over downtown too, and the states only Whiskey distillery if that's your thing.

I travel there often for work and have really enjoyed it. I'd move there before I would move to Baton Rouge. And guess what? Little Rock has a loop!

I've always liked it, but I stay in the nice parts of town

They be banging in little rock. Too many gangs for a city of its size.

Like everyone has said West Little Rock is nice, downtown has improved quite a bit the 20 years I've been here. We live north of the river about 20 min so we don't make it there too often unless we going to a nice movie theatre and eat sushi.

There are so many cool little spots on River Market Ave and in that area down by the capital bldg that used to be a war zone 20+ years ago.
In some ways, it reminded me a lot of the recent Cleveland art and restaurant Renaissance. There are 15-20 little places that should make an appearance on like a food network show or something. And we did a lot of walking in small groups all over that area and I always felt pretty safe. Again, it's a complete 180 from what I experienced in the early 2000's and mid to late 90's.

All I ever see is the airport and downtown (Fly up on GLO from NOLA and stay at the Capitol), but from what I've seen, it's been nice and clean.

That's not the piano bar where an old man makes love to his tonic and gin, Paul is a real estate novelist who is talking with Davy who is still in the Navy, the waitress practices politics, the businessmen slowly get stoned, and John at the bar is a friend of yours, is it?
