Lived here a year so far for school. First thought, was to graduate and gtfo and move to Texas, Tennessee, or North Carolina.
I now love it. I live about a mile from the Chenal Valley area and its pretty much Mandeville with a mountainy terrain. Wouldn't mind staying here after. West Little rock is beautiful and super clean.

West LR is the nicest part, River Market has some nice bars. Chenal area is a good place to raise a family

It's basically Baton Rouge, AR.
I live in central AR and this is basically the truth. LR is a lot smaller population-wise but it's spread out quite a bit. And just like BR, there's areas that are really nice, clean, and quiet, and then there's areas you wouldn't want to go at night. I'd say that the people are a lot of the same too, very friendly and helpful. Only difference might be the accents.
Fayetteville is a little more uppity when it comes to the people, but it's still a good place to live. All in all, I'd gladly live in LR, BR, or Fayetteville in a heartbeat.

I don't like the abject failure of interstates in south Arkansas. No easy way to get around.

Cabot (suburb of LR) has some of the nicest inbred people you'll ever meet.
Their beauty pageants must be run by the Special Olympics

No sir, it was a piano bar not too far from there though.

Know the place well. During the week there can be a bit of talent to be found there, in on business kind of thing.
The LR Peabody is what a brick salesman dreams of (if they dream), it's so unlike the Memphis version in architecture but still the same good service there.

Little Rock is a shithole...
Give me NW Arkansas and Hot Springs
Hot Springs has potential, but they need to get a handle on the people walking up and down Central between the Arlington and Bathhouse Row at night. Too many sketchy looking people scare off the older folks trying to spend money. A greater police presence would be nice.

Of all the suburbs to make fun of you pick Cabot? There's a reason it's gone from small town of 8k to over 20k in a short time. Probably top 5 school district in the state.
Now Jacksonville, that would be fair game

The town might be nice but every time I visit my grandmother up there I am appalled at what is classified as a woman in that town. Their Walmart deserves its own reality tv show
