A visitor from Ireland asked me what cities need to be visitied in Louisiana. Idk , is Lafayette better then baton rouge? Better food arts music scene? Compares to the UK?

If there's a festival or event going on? Sure, why not. It's certainly a unique culture.

Just a random Tuesday in Lafayette? Keep on driving.

Does the chicken sandwich get thrown on the buffet? If so I'm booking a flight now.

If you are going to name cities to visit in Louisiana I would say Lafayette is up there, but it depends on what the person is looking to experience.

Better place to live than to visit as a tourist unless their is a festival or you have family here. That being said, there is alot of very good food here.
