Is Kevin hart funny?

No. His first special was pretty funny for the time, but he was average at best after that. He also stole a bunch of jokes, and apparently was getting a lot of material ghostwritten by his comedian ex.
Patrice O'Neal once threw a phonebook at him during a set and told him to read that instead, because it was more funny than his material.

Every time any other actor starts talking about what you have to do to get ahead, he immediately starts trying to get them to hush. I think he has done some some messed dip stuff to get ahead

His first 2 or 3 specials were up there with some of the best. Since he got into movies hes kinda lost it stand up wise, and everybody is just sick of him in general since hes been in 100 movies and all over tv. It kinda became trendy to say he was never funny, but you're lying if you weren't laughing at that 3 special run he had from 2009-11 with im a grown little man, seriously funny, and laugh at my pain. I was in college at the time and people quoted lines from those all the time
I will say hes more "silly" than naturally funny. Like Bernie Mac or Mike Epps are naturally funny just when they talk or tell stories, but Hart has to be over the top and really try to be funny if that makes sense.

Not really. I find he's become a one trick pony. Toss him some lines and watch him shout them-----ALL OF THEM.

Yes, but peak comedy is about to collapse. There are way too many acts doing arena tours now.
