It's trashy to think about such ridiculous shite.

If this is a big problem for you, you have been a pussy and wasted your entire life.... so far ...

Do anything, don't die questioning acceptability of your laundry room.

so should i mismatch and buy a different brand of fridge at the risk of being OT trashy?

When we were replacing our dishwasher, my mother-in-law made a comment that it had to match the brand of the refrigerator. I thought that was absolutely ridiculous. I think it may be some scam invented by the companies to make sure they get your business whenever you make a new purchase.

I have all Frigidaire appliances. No problems with the fridge other than the one time I had to replace the water valve which was like $20 and easy to install. Oh the filters are expensive as frick too... but other than that it's all good.

P.S. you're trashy either way

The house I bought over the summer had all Samsung other than the dishwasher. They are pretty nice.

ETA: Their dishwasher has a 1-star review... so I'm glad it doesn't match.

the only reason people buy the same brand is because they get a discount when buying them all together

other than that, there is no reason to buy all the same brand

Mismatching colors looks terrible, which makes it trashy.

Having that issue, bought a new fridge in black when the old stove is in white. But I'm having cabinets built at first I spec's cherry with white/black granite, but now I'm going white with cream granite and I'm thinking I want to go with a white range instead of the contrasting black range(which was better with cherry/white granite)

The fridge is not next to the cabinets and range, but still is in the kitchen, I'm thinking that I have to get a new fridge, but a new white fridge is tacky, I think I'm going to have to retro double silver buckle white fridge for it to have character

Ew. I'm not going to the next OT Book Club if it's at your house.

this seems like a strange jump for me. I agree they make a nice tablet and nice appliances, but does the fact that they make a nice tablet mean they have to make nice appliances?

It's like saying "i love my Mitsubishi TV. i cant wait to go buy a galant!"

This a problem in my house. We installed stainless steal appliances in our last home. Our new house had white appliances, but we brought the fridge from the last place.

It doesn't look terrible bc of the layout, but I would like to upgrade at some point.

Doesn't matter. Staff should only enter the kitchen while friends and family are served in the dining room.

ok...at the risk of being trashy (which apparently i already am anyways) i've decided to risk it and side with the OT and pass on the matching brand appliances.

chalk up a win for the OT
