I got As in handwriting in 4th grade, now I can't even read what I wrote. Good thing I can still remember what I wrote.

I just have my secretary type everything I need then I just have to sign it.

I'm 50 and if I write something down, my handwriting is so bad that if I try to read whatever I wrote down I usually can't decipher it.

I write in all caps, print. It is neat, very legible. I hate my signature though.

I hand write reports in the field, and transfer to electronic when I get back in the office. It’s atrocious if I’m jotting, but, legible if I’m taking the time. My wife and I split thank you cards for our wedding. I think most people just read the front of the card and threw it when they opened mine. There’s no way they could read them.

My old director use to say I had the handwriting of a serial killer..

My hand writing has been atrocious since I was in third grade. I remember the girls in my class trying to help me write neatly... I think a nice handwriting comes naturally.. Like someone beaing able to draw.

same with me...honestly, I seldom write anything anymore because there is an 80% chance that I can't read it later anyway.

Go to writing in all caps. Takes a couple weeks of thoughtfulness. But it's much easier to read

My handwriting is absolutely atrocious and I’m not a doctor

I thought bad handwriting was a prerequisite for graduating med school. I've always heard pharmacists, and nurses, are the only people that can read a doctor's handwriting. As long as you warm your finger before asking me to cough, I don't care how you write.

I have to print. When I sign my name on card you have to write a brief something on a letter I always feel embarrassed because it looks like a child. I can writing says something about maturity and that shakes out in my case

My great handwriting comes from taking 2 years of drafting classes in high school. First year we spent the first three weeks of class learning how to write.

I changed mine my senior year of high school because a cheat sheet fell out of my pocket after a test. The teacher showed it to the class the day after the test. Said he was going to look into it. The test was multiple choice so he couldn’t compare, but anytime I had to do any writing in that class from that point forward I wrote in my new handwriting style so it wouldn’t match my cheat sheet.

I still write like that to this day. It’s actually much neater than my previous handwriting. It’s basically all capitalized letters with truly capitalized letters being larger.

pecker, this is pretty stupid. So no one had ever written before that test? If they wanted to find the culprit, it'd have been easy.

Yeah, of course. I didn’t have a lot of options though. It was early in the year and I don’t remember how much writing we had done prior to that. I’m pretty sure he made us write an essay the next class. I wasn’t going to roll in there with my standard handwriting like a bitch. I may have been a cheater but I wasn’t a quitter.

Nothing ever came of it.

does anyone else's handwriting depend on what type of pen you are using? Some form of pens I can write like a engineer in others I look like a 2 year old.

Hijack - my signature is never the same, how do people keep theirs the same?
