Happened to me once. Caught her in some emails. She still denies that anything physical occurred, but I know better. We split for about 6 months but neither of us filed for divorce. She wanted to get back together...I wanted my kids to have their family intact. 6 years later and we’re still together. I’ve forgiven, but I haven’t forgotten. I love her as the mother of my children, but she no longer sits on the pedestal like she once did. Honestly, after the kids are grown and out of the house, I’ll probably leave her.

Here to vouch. I have heard many chicks with no reason to lie say they've done ONE threesome in their lives and wouldn't do it again, whether it was mfm, mmf, fmf, fff, or ffm.
That is one of them things people always think will be so much hotter than it turns out IRL.

I think it’s perfectly possible for a man to have a stable relationship where he steps out to get a bit of strange now and then.

Yup. A woman will always chase that high of feeling wanted, of newness, of being made to feel beautiful. Even if it is an affair, it is much more of an emotional and psychological thing.

I've never understood this line of thinking. Depending how old she is most women have been with a double digit number of guys anyway. Neither do I. What I went through and all I have experienced since then completely shattered my faith in relationships.
Although I really do hope to find that magic again, and have had some lovely relationships since then, i’ll Never be able to have that blindly trusting, naive, pure love again.
