The best thing about not having children is that you don't have to worry about being murdered by your own children.

Find a woman who has the same beliefs and interests as you. It's amazing what will come out of that.

I wonder how many people have kids only because thats whats expected? Women, more than men, are pressured more to have kids. Old people get nosey about that shite to. Some will ask a couple everytime they see them "whens that baby coming?" People can do whatever the frick they want to do.

I think your chances of regretting your kid are a lot higher than my chances of regretting not having one

One of my neighbor's and his wife admitted they are just too selfish to have kids. They don't want to give up any of their freedoms currently enjoyed. Besides, they like to have stuff and do lots of stuff and kids would suck that away to some extent. A guy in my office had one child and he openly states that couples having more than one child are stupid from and economic standpoint. But, he was an noted penny pinching worry wart...

Aspy you are a very sweet and kind person. Probably one of the nicest females on this site. I think if you decided one day to be a mother you would be great at it

That is where I'm at. I have a career that will hopefully lead to me having a lot of freedom. I feel like I will be more fulfilled spending that time traveling with my wife and building my career. I wish I thought like other people in the respect of kids.

No worries ryno, we cool

I'm in beginning stages of that process....so I have no clue yet what the problem is or the recommended treatment for it. Not knowing is the most stressful part.

I think the world can do without every couple having kids. At some point population growth will be a huge issue especially since technology continues to improve. What happens when less and less jobs are available but there are more and more people in the world? There is no reason for people to have a kid just because thats what is expected.

steal your money

Just live long enough son.

I was you about a decade ago. I had good run. I traveled, partied, spent money on new vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and answered to no one.

Eventually, for me, this all got old and became a shallow life. I met my wife around the time I turned 30 and slowly eased into marriage and kids. It's not always as easy as my previous life, but I wouldn't trade the two for anything.

You'll see...

Just live long enough...30.

So get a vasectomy. That way nobody decides for you.

Not many dick doctors will give an unmarried 24 year old a vasectomy and I don't want to do it in Mexico.

You didn't decide to have them for fun. You decided to have them because that was missing from your life.

It's perfectly reasonable to want to be with someone but not want kids. That said, the legal system is set up to assume marriage will involve kids, so legal marriage may not be worthwhile.
