Football games at 11 AM! The east coast starting and finishing it's day ahead of you! I need to emotionally prepare. What should I expect?

No one cares about them

West coast would be worse

Eastern in the worst. Everything starts way too late.

9 AM on the West coast. Could be worse...

Good catch.
And I've lived on the east coast my whole life and learned it's the best coast.

I think it's mostly convenient. Some shite starts and finishes too late on the east coast. Central is the sweet spot imo.
e.g. you don't have to stay up past midnight to watch Monday Night Football now.

its awesome. I would hate the eastern time zone. MNF starts at 9

I've lived in central and eastern about 1/2 and 1/2 in my life. I think I prefer the central time zone, particularly for sports. Especially once you get older and have a real job and kids. A lot of games / sporting events end too late in the east time zone whether you are watching or attending.

Yea, I lived in VA for 11 years. Central time is so much better.

Watching sports at night and late night TV are MUCH more enjoyable. MNF, SNF and THF Games don't end near or after midnight.
Also living on the East Coast and traveling to other US continental time zones for business means you are always adding more time to your work schedule and losing time for your personal schedule.

Central is the money spot. Mountain wouldn't be bad either.

Mountain time is by far the best sports time IMO.

Central is tGOAT time zone for American sports fans

It's just an hour, not that big of a deal.
I'd rather games end before midnight, but if you like to stay up late, I could see how you might prefer Eastern.

I can't help but thinking how much it sucks for 7 E/6 C basketball games are because you might still be at work.

I mean, East coasters haven't been able to watch a home GS game this year unless they are willing to start watching a 2.5 hour sporting event that begins at almost 11 o' clock on a week night.
