Eastern time zone makes sense, considering us on the east coast are far more productive and professionally-oriented than our bumpkin neighbors to the west in CST/CDT. None of us are home in time to watch a baseball game that starts at 6PM.

I know you're trolling, but if you wanted to get home in time, you could always go into work early. Staying late isn't the only way to get extra time in during the day.

Then it would probably make sense to live in a place where the game starts later. Like in the central time zone.

I always wondered about how people live right on time zone borders, especially if you work on one side and live on the other.

Yea even I have trouble catching most of their games because of the 9:30 start time. I assume I just wouldn't watch any of their home games if I was in the eastern time zone.

I assume it's probably easiest to just live your life by the time zone you work in.

I could deal with it if I was like right on the border. I don't think I'd like it if had to drive say 25 miles or something to cross the time border to get to work. Say you live in central time zone, 25 miles away from your work that is right on the other side in eastern. Everything in the place you live closes an hour earlier than you're schedule.

Poor wording on my part.

The game starts at the same time. That time just happens to be 7pm in central time zone, which makes it easier to watch without interfering with work.
