IDK about the racist part, but you got triggered beyond belief when I suggested speaking in absolutes on this topic was stupid, which of course is true.

So simpleton is definitely a strong possibility.

Xenophobic and racist aren’t the same. I don’t know anything about this cat but which one is it? Both?

Well he has already posted xenophobic posts.

I was just merely implying that his long winded rant earlier sounds like something some ignorant hillbilly would post.

Someone that also has racist views as well.

Lol. You are doing the correct thing in every regard, don’t second guess yourself. Congratulate yourself. You get it.

I agree with a lot of your post but it would be better received if you toned it down.

I don’t see any advantage to putting a baby 2 and under in daycare except financially but I’ll agree there are pros and cons 3 and up

I mean we are talking about three year olds here.
I know. I still stand behind the statement. I have a 3 yr old and a 6 yr old, by the way.

Kids learn valuable social skills in daycare. If you’re leaning away from daycare, I would at the very least schedule play dates with other little kids.

I went back and read that long winded post and outside of the foreigners taking American jobs at the end what part was racist? And even that wasn’t. I know plenty of white people that fit that bill. Why can’t people have a conversation these days without virtue signaling or claiming racism? And that goes for everyone, not just one side.

Daycare. They'll get sick a lot at first. It builds up their immune system. They will also learn to interact with other children and they will be better prepared for school. Plus, they will already have friends when they start school.

Don't cheap out and find somebody that lets your kid sit around eating goldfish and watching Spongebob. Find the best daycare you can afford.

Don't want a 1-3 year old to miss or on all that socialization toddlers are known for.

Home with mom up until Kindergarten in our house.

Plenty of play groups to get socialization. We did early learning in our home and no pre-K. Worked for us and kids are doing great. However, it may not be possible for all to follow same route. Plenty of kids turn out great going to daycare, but I think it's good for mom and kid.

you just have to determine what is best for your child and your family.

it would be ideal if the child could stay at home but attend a good mother's morning out a couple of days a week. good for socialization, learning and preventing future separation anxiety & other anxieties that could occur if your son is thrown into a full day pre-k having never experienced a classroom setting.

also, a mother's morning out would give your wife a break. no matter how much you love your child, occasional time away is good for both parties.

Arrange socialization.

2 Moms and 2 kids.

We also had church program for pre nursery. 3 paid hours with degreed pros. Arts and crafts and music.

Your wife needs grown up time.
Develop a side hustle she likes and make a buck. Maybe turns into more than hobby. Gets her adult human contact.

Sent oldest to daycare full time from 12 weeks until 3K and currently staying home with youngest who is two. Having lived both, staying home and utilizing a parents morning our program is the superior choice for our family.

Totally depends on the kid and program and the dynamics and such but socialization at early ages can be achieved through parents morning out programs a few hours a week.

Agreed. What is the educational level of the mother? Totally different thing when you have a highly educated stay at home mom vs one that barely finished high school and stays at home.

You call out a poster for being racist and xenophobic but call out mom’s who aren’t educated enough for you. What am I missing? Seems like a double standard to me.

Child should stay at home unless your wife has a mental illness.
