Really stupid? You want to talk about what is really stupid? Really stupid to have kids if you're incapable of raising them. Really stupid to rely on others to raise your own kids. Really stupid to refuse to learn how to raise your own kids. Really stupid for people to just be OK with being a dumb despot.

Really stupid to live in a society where it is the norm not the exception that people don't raise their own kids from birth to kindergarten. Really stupid that around 30 to 40 years ago the norm became for both parents to have to work in order to pay the bills. Really stupid that people have self-justified this to the point of ridiculing others who see a bigger picture where this has resulted in a decline in sense of independence and self responsibility and growth in dependence on others (even the state) to raise their kids. Really stupid that since all this started we have become as a society dumber and lazier and have snowflakes and safe spaces. Really stupid that as more generations of these kids grow up we have more kids with worthless college degrees and unending debt. Really stupid that we also have foreigners taking high paying and low paying jobs from Americans left and right, while americans look for someone to take care of them.

Pretty sure this is the nut job that pops into these threads to say daycare is child abuse.

All the kids in our families went to pre-school/nursery school for 1/2 day starting at age 2. Worked out very well. Perhaps that's an option you and the wife want to consider.

Daycare is both good and bad for social interaction. Bad for health, although it may help overall immune system in the long run. Still sucks when whole house gets sick because some parent sent kid to daycare with the Flu or HFM or Strep. Some regular social interaction is great for the kid and the mother. However, daycare can be uncontrolled, pick up bad habits from other kids, etc. A regular routine also helps tremendously once school starts.

Staying at home with mom is the correct answer.

Maybe I should have said:

Baw at sonic told me they do better daycare in the quad for treefiddy.

Then you'd think I was like, really smart.

Sorry I'll go MAGA somewhere else.

We put our son in a Chinese Montessori program, he starts kindergarten next year and is fluent in Mandarin and speaks some Spanish, he is reading, writing, and doing basic math already. He wasn't getting all that at home. Now he is going to the leadership school in Katy ISD, which is a trilingual charter school teaching Spanish and mandarin.

Either parent if it’s financially feasible, just be prepared for a lot sick days when he starts pre k if he hasn’t been around other kids.

I was leaving, but I just saw this. Wow, this is absurd. FTR, people are people; skin color is immaterial to me. Nice race baiting, simpleton.

I wish I lived someplace where my kid had the opportunity to learn Chinese. You’re boy is very lucky and is going to have a great edge when the time comes for him to compete in the global marketplace.

All mine have stayed home with their mom. We did mothers day out programs for 2 days a week and bumped it up to 3. Tack on swimming lessons and week long summer camps, they recieved a lot of social interaction. Not to mention the birthday parties and play dates with friends and family I never felt like they lacked for anything socially.

All three of ours stayed home until the year before they started school. In that time they bonded with their mom and me, as well as their grandparents. They had plenty of social interaction through church and with cousins and neighborhood kids. It worked well for us, but we are very family oriented because both of our families are pretty cool and don’t have many losers who I wouldn’t want my kids around.
Several friends sent theirs to daycare early on and their kids are fine, so just do whatever fits your lifestyle the best.

So your cerebral shortcomings make me a racist simpleton, when no part of anything I said was or in any way eluded to me being racist or some kind of simpleton.

Don't like or agree with what someone says and you concoct a way to think they're racist = you are a mindless little simpleton.

ETA next you'll probably call me a xenophobe and reference some unidentified mob of likemindedness to prop up your stance.
