Is H-E-B the GOAT grocery store chain?

I would have to say so. It’s basically a Whole Foods but without the pretentiousness and decked out organic supply with obnoxious hipster influences. All the check out lanes are usually occupied by a cashier, the place is gigantic (as far as neighborhood grocery stores go), large produce section, and the prices are low too. I could go on and on.

So, what say the OT?

It has a cult like following. I have shopped at plenty of them and they seem like just another grocery store to me.

It’s regional, so no.

A GOAT grocery chain would be both awesome and convenient. Being 300 miles away isn’t convenient.

I love it, and the customer service is still great, but mine is always so damn busy! It's worth the longer drive to Kroger for simple things to avoid the ever present crowd.

Yes it absolutely is. My local HEB has live jazz sometimes on Wednesdays. It is truly a delight
