We have a Kroger across the street from an HEB. We go to the Kroger. Pretty much has the same stuff. Kroger tends to be a little less expensive and have less people. HEB has that wow factor due to the tall ceilings and just looking huge. But when it comes to day to day stuff, it's the same stuff as Kroger.

Yes it absolutely is. My local HEB has live jazz sometimes on Wednesdays. It is truly a delight

Meh.

My HEB gives away one free truckload of Mexicans a week...tax fricking free.

Top THAT.

HEB and Publix are the GOAT and non in LA. I did like Mejers in the north.

Wegman's

Forgot about them. I was working in Williamsport, PA some years back for a protracted period of time and was staying in the Residence Inn close by and I used to go there regularly. Good food court and excellent selection overall....could get French Market coffee

I've been in several. Some are almost Whole Food clones. Some are still stuck in the 70's and have that old supermarket smell.

Was coming to post this. Wegmans is fantastic. It's the only grocery store I like to spend time in and they have an incredible selection of lunch buffets to choose from.

Damn, I might need to pop over there and get their branded lobster mac and cheese this weekend. It's really good.

When you can purchase one item, and get the complimentary items for free...then you're winning.
HEB it is.
