The HEB Plus on Potranco and 1604 in San Antonio is nice. Their prime beef is worth the trip. A lot of eye candy walking around too, which is saying something for San Antonio. I heard the one on Bandera and 1604 is nice too, but I haven't had a need to visit. Can't forget about the fajita meats.

In the heights I greatly prefer the Kroger on Shepherd. Looking forward to the new H-E-B they are building. Gonna be fancy af.

As regional chains go around the country HEB wins going away and they compare better than just about any national chain
Ifyou are going t talk about national chains I would say it's Publixx and the remodeled Krogers around the country with their updated Delis and produce departments , etc....not every Kroger but the newer ones are pretty nice and the quality is much better than the older ones....extremely
