Depends.... can you work from home and be as productive as you could be in the office?

Because my wife and kids are at my house

I got all 3 screens on my dining room table right now

I took all of my monitors, docking station, keyboard etc off of my desk and brought them home.

My kid is using the home pc so I needed a better setup.

Yes it is. Everyone else is making sacrifices to get this thing over with. To think you are above that is ridiculous.

I work a few hundred feet away from my office, but I am working from home (which I absolutely hate doing, even though I have a much faster internet connection). I was out of State week before last so I am self isolating myself as much as possible.

As someone who has worked exclusively from home for the last 2.5 years, your post is spot on.

Most people underestimate how much of their socialization occurs at the office. Even the small interactions like exchanging a hello walking to a meeting matter. Without them, you’ll start to notice something is off after a while because that “socialization deficit” adds up over time.

You have to figure out how to make up for that lack of face time somehow. It’s even harder no with social distancing, but putting yourself in situations where you casually say hi to people (walk the neighborhood, quick trip to a grocery store, haircut) once or twice in a work day makes a ton of difference.

Yes. But, some people just cannot stay home....
