Ya, called a fireplace. And illegal in many northern cities due to "climate change" and reasons.
Any more stupid gotcha attempts you want to try?

All your posts say otherwise.

Geez this seems like it would be an interesting thread to read but 40 pages?

Oh my!
So you are unfamiliar with PPP ???
I have to wonder about you, though, since your posts in this thread indicate that you believe those figures in any way relate to the topic. You have on more than one occasion in this thread directly compared these PPP figures to wages. That is wrong, NC.

100% of Bernie Bros. Its astounding how stupid they are.
It's astounding just how little the average person comprehends basic economics. No skills, little education, and demand big $$$ for menial labor.

You can make more than that at a Walmart DC but they will squeeze every cent out of you.

Perhaps and maybe it is worthwhile to shop yourself at this time but that most likely won't be the case in the coming economic downturn. Amazon paying $17/hr shows OPs company isn't way off base with $15. It's the same market too which I'm sure Amazon has done extensive research on.

Fireplaces were only invented recently and dont exist inside dwellings? Because that seems to be what you're insinuating. Surely you can't be that dumb.

Walmart pays warehouse employees in the 75 percentile. They have to because production goals are absurd. Not everyone can physically handle working in a place like that.
I understand pay can be related to skill level but sometimes that isn't the case with all jobs.

quote:
In 2020, real median earnings of those who worked full-time, year-round increased 6.9 percent from their 2019 estimate. Median earnings of men ($61,417) and women ($50,982) who worked full-time, year-round increased by 5.6 percent and 6.5 percent, respectively
So about $55k is the median for full-time workers in the US.
So like fallguy said, I'm not sure what you think that 19k represents, but it certainly does *not* represent median individual earnings in the US.

My average wage to drop wings is over $16/hr. The main attraction at my place is no drug test for some of these folks

It’s called Capitalism and Free Market. If they can get it, why not?

Show your work then. Should be easy
Keeping in mind, I'd have a roommate to share rent and utilities...
$15/hr * 2080 hrs = $31,200
$31,200/12 = $2,400/mo.
$2,400
- $650 withholding
$1,750 monthly net
- $500 rent
- $80 car insurance
- $75 electric
- $95 phone
- $30 water/sewer
$970
- $400 groceries
- $100 gas
$470
Easy.

Its not even close to a free market.
If it were a free market, prices would drop dramatically across the board.
