Yup that's the other one.

But see they're like every .3 of a mile all up and down Government.

Mid City homes values are going through the roof.

80 year old self described 3 bedroom ONE bath "Cottages" are going for over 200k in Capital heights. The area's (especially Government St) is exploding with growth.

And there is no significant crime in the area. It's all north of Florida.

Yup. Mid City's biggest crime is that it shares a zip code with Mall City. That's what allowed the housing prices to be low enough for gentrification to start in the first place.

Mud City = crime
Would NEVER consider that area. Never.

Quit being a clit. I lived in capital heights for a few years and experienced absolutely zero crime. Nor did I hear of any.
Mud city? Get out of here with that bigotry.

Egg Roll King lunch specials. Of course you run the risk of death by food poisioning sometimes but I give that little purple place and its bad drive through speaker some props for holding strong all these years.

True. If he goes on the north side of government between Lobdell and Jefferson, there's a lot of small, affordable houses in there. That area's just not nearly as walkable and is closer to the hood. I looked at a couple houses around there before I found my rent house near Catholic.

That area's expensive for a reason, it's convenient as f&%k.

Government St is physically terrible right now. DOTD doesn't want to spend any money on it since CP is planning projects to repair it.

Indeed, plus Claycut is closed right at the substation by Foster. It's a mess, but it's about to all start getting reworked. It won't be long now.

Neer had a problem with Vietnamese people. I did start having alot of problems after an AA moved in next door. Parties, their "friends" parking in my driveway, knocking on my door all hours of the night and their kids in my yard and all over my cars. No one, within half a mile, could hear themselves think when they
took their party outdoors. They never watched their young kids ,
ever! Thankfully, I moved after some random guys in a truck were banging on my door and turning the door knob at 1:30am on a Tuesday . This was the second time it happened and I saw the truck at my wonderful neighbors house the next day. I could add a lot more ! From my experience , I would much rather live next to Vietnamese than AA.
