Scan as you drop stuff in your basket, when you are finished shopping, hit the pay button and head to the exit. They'll scan your QR code on your phone, scan a couple items in your basket and you are out the door.

We did that last summer at Sam's one day. Thought we were hot shite then stood in line to get our receipt scanned for 10 minutes. We go to both Sam's and Costco.
I'll take Costco's shite ton of staff and checkout lines over scan and go.

Costco has some insane deals, one deal can make your membership. If you have regular prescriptions they are cheaper than anywhere at Costco, me not having a functioning organ it saves a few hundred a month. Meat department is good. A lot of household items are cheaper there. The return policy is awesome, all of my small and major appliances come from costco, if it breaks you call them and they deliver a new on if they have it, if not you get a refund. (If you buy online, if you buy in store you have to return in store).

For me, yes. Whenever there were shortages the last couple of years, Costco always had it. Mine is usually pretty quick

Strange. Metairie Sams never has this problem even on Saturday afternoons when the store is completely packed. Longest I ever waited was a a minute or two.

Buy gas with a costco credit card and get 4% cash back. They send me a check for $150-$200 every year.

Sams gives you 5%. Just saying

I would never ever sit in line for gas for 20mins to save .20

Get your lazy arse out of bed early and head over there. No real lines and in and out in less than 10 minutes if needing a fill-up.

What the wife and I save in gas alone pays for the membership.

You can check prices at pump on your App. Sometimes it might only be $0.05 better but sometimes it’s $0.30. If you fill up 1x a week you can save $1-$5. Multiply that by 52.
Meat and liquor discounts will also save you money. Buy a Foodsaver and portion smaller.
Well worth it.

The gas difference varies big-time. Sometimes it’s only .05 or $.10 less but other times it’s over $.50 less per gallon. I usually go early in the morning on the weekend or between 8 PM and 830 on a weeknight and there’s never a line
