I see it on a lot of people who look like they've never turned a wrench or sat in a deer stand.

They make a good product. Glad people deciding to at least dress like men again.

I'll buy their t-shirts. They are incredibly well made.

The North Face sold out and became frat gear and not extreme mountaineering equipment. Seems like you are right and Carhartt is on the same path. No longer blue-collar workingman's go-to gear.

Carhartt has done a good job of expanding their line of clothing, and they make quality stuff.

Also, hipsters like dressing up like lumberjacks for some reason.

Mine has grease and dirt stains on it so I feel legit.
I have 2 carhartt coats. 1 for work and 1 for dressing up.

My jacket is Carhartt. I don’t hunt and don’t work with tools. Company jackets are Carhartt so that’s what I wear. I actually like it a lot too. May start hunting now

Bone Thugs and Wu Tang made carhartt popular in early 90s. They may have fired a gun or two but probably not from a deer stand. Does that count?

As an overall product line? Maybe.

As a style when you think of Carhartt? No, this jacket is still safely in the "I wear jeans to every wedding" camp.
