i usta love their all overs jump suits zippered front and legs so ya could take em off with ya boots on. They kept me warm on many a cold stormy night working on barges. Mie got all oil stained and worn but lasted through several winters. Now I own and wear a few pairs of their overalls and have my last jump suit I wore at work for hunting and winter time sac au lait fishing

The North Face sold out and became frat gear and not extreme mountaineering equipment. Seems like you are right and Carhartt is on the same path. No longer blue-collar workingman's go-to gear.

They still have both?

Carhartt is actually trying to dethrone Dickies in the skate scene but are going all in with boards, wheels and a full team.

Don't know what to make of it. Growing up Carhartt was for hunting elk, not grinding rails.

Vests? I've never seen Carhartt on someone as a fashion statement outside of a vest

Nah, man jackets, pants, everything. Im pretty sure Europe just knows Carhartt as streetwear. They even has their own line dedicated to Carhartt "streetwear"

Just look at these goobers

If this is the image of men in the not to distant future I suspect it won't be hard for us Baws to land that 25yrs old younger than us second wife.

Did you really just walk outside to take a picture of your forward parked truck?

Yeah I read up on that actually. Work in Progress is the name of the streetwear line. Apparently it was a spinoff that partnered with Carhartt in Europe and now is being marketed in the US.

That's quite a pivot for Carhartt in the states.
