We are 10 pages and yet these posters have not been called out yet

DR. SWOLE

BLONDIE

Surely I am not the only old one around wanting those 2 to add spice to this thread.

This thread is hilarious

BabyTac got the fatties and the workout junkies all riled up

Even got some fun semantic arguments thrown in

Why aren’t any Fortune 500 Executives ‘swole’?

Vast majority stay fairly fit. Most aren’t swole because they’re too old to be that way. It’s usually teens and men in their 20s who seek to be swole.

Politicians are notoriously limp wrists

No ministers or pastors ‘swole’

I’ve known several who were pretty jacked.

Vast majority of men like you describe are young single men, not the demographic you find in a professional setting until they’re married with kids, and when that happens they usually stop working out so often

Seems like many southern men have a fascination with being ‘swole’. It’s unattractive and frankly takes a ton of work to look like a meathead.

No ministers or pastors ‘swole’

Why is there this fascination with non athletes to not be able to fit into normal clothes? This isn’t how you get ahead in this world.

‘Splain this desire for 20” guns to me OT?

You made all of this up to get attention and as sure as fish shitting in an ocean it worked! 11 pages.

I’ve always been the type that wants to see what you can do rather than what you look like.

A guy who is “swole” and can bench 500 lbs but gets winded going up a flight of stairs or can’t even lift his body weight over head seems stupid to me.

A guy who weighs 300 lbs and shredded is the same as a fat guy weighing 300 lbs… both put extra strain on your heart.

But this is America the land of choices.

If you're working hard enough to be that successful, working out is a luxury. So is sleep.

This thread reminded me of a guy I used to work with. We were in different offices so I saw him every few months. At some point, he suddenly had the whole steroid-user look, down to the Barry Bonds-style Superdome head.

I looked him up when I saw this thread. He was definitely an up-and-comer when I knew him. He was a manager at a younger age than is typical- real manager with employees and a door. Now, 20 years later, that's what he still is: first-line manager of the same department.

Makes you think...

Maybe they should be.

Just say you're ok with being fat.

Why the obsession with what other people do?

Some people like to hunt and fish. I think that is fricking stupid and boring.

Nothing wrong with people who go to a gym and want to be in shape.

‘Swole’ could mean different things to different people. Personally I wouldn’t want to be ‘swole’ at 45 but if someone does who cares?

This board is full of people 5’9 225 pounds who think they just need to “lose 20 pounds”

Quit worrying about other people. If you like fast food and going to bars several times a week doesn’t bother me in the least. Keep doing it.

Being fat or being swole(like bodybuilders) both show signs of addictions which is why both are looked at negatively by the masses

So you guys wouldn’t want to look like the rock? Or Jason momoa? Because you have white collar job?

The guys you look up to set a bad example… you should 100% be jacked and successful as a man
