I’m gonna a 10 day cut rotation and tomorrow makes 21 days since last cut. Barber in the shop I use has the rona so my guy won’t even cut at his house. Hope he doesn’t drag up since there are few good flat top guys left in town.

Mine is working remotely from home right now. He sent me detailed instructions on how to cut it myself and a bill for his time.

Considering I'm not receiving the service, frick no I'm not paying. As others have said, when I can go get a haircut, I'll top a little extra the next few times.

I was scheduled for a late afternoon cut the week we were sent home from work. I sent him money for the cut and a large tip. I'm pretty close to taking the clippers to it all.

No, I think you may be one a few thinking about their barbers, but I like where your head is at. I’d say, if you can afford it, and it has entered your mind to this degree, to go ahead and make a contribution. You will only reflect back positively on it.

Im sure this will make me sound like a dickhead and everyone will downvote, but why would you send money to your barber if they haven't provided you with a service? There are a lot of industries taking a hit right now.
Look, I understand it is a good gesture and I can appreciate anyone who does this, but there are other people more in need that you can send money to.. Plus my barber has a few side hustles he has invested in.. But as I think this out, if your barber works for someone else or has only been cutting hair for a few years I can see throwing him some snaps.

I do plan on sending my hair stylist money on the day my appointment is scheduled. She will probably flat out refuse, but I will insist!

I wish I could connect with my barber and meet him at his house... I miss the days when I had a solid guy in NOLA who would open after hours for a cut... I paid him like $45 for a $15 haircut and didn’t regret a cent of it.
