Is anyone here a hypochondriac?

growing up all my family members had cancer or some other type of medical issues
I've always tried being aware of my health because of it
Sometimes I think I go completely overboard and I can't help it sometimes. I try to live healthy and try not to worry but it becomes overwhelming sometimes
Its extremely frustrating worrying about one thing, then moving onto something else after you figure out the other issue.
What makes this all much worse, I work in the medical field
but I love my job and what I do at least. I wish I can follow my own advice sometimes to patients
The internet says you are dying every-time so ignore it

With all of my doctor visits I don't have time to be a hypochondriac

What are the symptoms? I must have it! I'm gonna die from this! Gotta go to my doctor and get this treated now!

According to webMB, your paranoia over your own health is a clear sign of brain disease and you have less than 6 months to live.
Sorry....
Sorry....

I take medicine for everything I possibly can so I wouldn't be a hypochondriac.

I've had everything, some things twice.

I'm not a hypochondriac, but I am always sick.

I don’t know but I think I’m dying

If the doctor has ever prescribed you salt pills then you are a hypochondriac.
A family friend, who was a good friend of my dad, once told him he would prescribe his older patients sugar pills because if they went in without being given something, they would be upset.. Since there were the hypochandriacs who came in on a regular basis, he would check them out.. Tell them he sees something going on and give them a prescription and tell them they need to take it so it doesn't get any worse.
This was years ago.. He has been retired for at least 15 years, but I always thought that was funny.

No, people used to call me a hypochondriac before I took a blood test for gluten sensitivity and was diagnosed. Now everything I eat is gluten free and I haven't been sick a day since

Being a hypochondriac costs too much thanks to Obama

I had it real bad before I got sick. I just don't feel well enough these days to be able to.

Yep. My daughter told me an hour ago her nose was stuffy and I started feeling bad 5 minutes later.

You should go see Dr. Vinny Boombatz. Hell of a physician.
