I imagine that pretty much every female in this country has been sexually harassed at one time or another.

1) What is the very first thought you have if someone tells you they are a vegetarian and don't eat meat? (after you get passed the "hippie" thoughts) -- ANSWER -- how are you going to get your protein.
2) What is the very first thought you have if someone tells you they do not drink milk or dairy? -- ANSWER -- how are you going to get your calcium?
Now be honest with yourselves. Did you think protein and calcium?? Now what if I told you that neither was true. What if I told you that studies are coming out (being squashed quickly) that show that milk actually CAUSES osteoporosis? That the acidification of your body actually causes your bones to release CALCIUM when you drink a lot of milk?
Wait? So "common knowledge" is not necessarily true?
Now, what if I told you that the BIGGEST supporters of the food and drug administration (FDA) were the BEEF and DAIRY industries..... would it start to make a bit of sense.
This is one quick and easy -- PROVABLE -- way to show that the media and big business brainwash us.
The youth have been truly fricked, and thoroughly brainwashed.

Eh, I agree with you.. but I see it both ways. There are times I see this stuff discussed by more liberal all-women groups and don't agree with them at all. I don't agree that being hit on is automatically harassment. I'm a relatively outgoing person and can roll with being hit on no problem. I go to bars/restaurants by myself pretty often, so I have no choice but to be a good sport about it. I'm not offended by being hit on in the least bit.
BUT. There are also a whole lot of inappropriate weirdos out there who need to back the frick off. And it's not just a "handful" of people. It's a fricking ton. Just a few months ago, some dude pulled up next to me while I was pumping gas, parked his car, got out, and stood next to me complimenting my outfit/asking where I was going/etc. This is NOT unusual. I am someone who doesn't get uncomfortable/scared easily, so I just kinda blew him off and left. But I've been told plenty times that I need to be more aware of my surroundings and more careful. I probably SHOULD have been uncomfortable, and I totally see why most women would have been in that situation.
It also isn't unusual to get hit on, and try to find the right moment to decline, and then have someone lash out on you no matter what. Especially if you're taken.
Scenario 1:
Guy: Hi, what's your name?
Me: I actually have a boyfriend.
Guy: I WAS JUST TALKING TO YOU, NOT HITTING ON YOU! JESUS, GET OVER YOURSELF
Scenario 2:
Guy: Hi, what's your name?
*we chat for ~half an hour*
Guy: It was great chatting with you. Can I get your number?
Me: I actually have a boyfriend.
Guy: THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU SIT HERE AND PRETEND YOU DIDN'T ALL NIGHT? (because apparently being a human and chatting with someone is pretending you're single)
Obviously, this is just an unstable jerk, but again.. not uncommon. It isn't a surprise that women are sick of it. You call it unsuccessful flirting, but when it is something you have to deal with constantly, it gets old. I've certainly had times I've had a long day and just want to sit at my regular bar and have a cocktail and look at memes on Instagram.. and some old frick manages to spot me and move in. Sometimes, I don't want to be polite and chat. I want to be left alone.

I'm sure there are lots of assholes out there. Clearly, it is not restricted to one gender, but that is also sort of the point. A guy can do nothing wrong, and he will be considered a creep for no other reason than making the error of being unattractive to the woman that he is attempting to pursue. Also, consider that it is expected, at least at large, for men to be the ones to do the initiation, and it can be a difficult situation for a lot of men to learn how to navigate.

Like I said, when it is something you've dealt with for 20 years, it gets old. Women are expected to be polite and labeled a bitch (even yelled at or worse) if they're not polite, if they don't chat, etc. I have one friend that will shut a man down hard the minute she's spoken to (she's married) - and she ain't soft about it. Most men consider her a complete bitch purely because she doesn't entertain their conversation. But that's pretty unfair. Why is she required to be polite to someone bothering her while she's trying to eat a meal or something?
It really just goes both ways and while I think many women are dramatic about innocent shite, I do still feel that most women HAVE been harassed enough to where the message should go out to the assholes.
Also. Every man thinks they're not the a-hole. You clearly think you're not. And maybe you're not. But maybe you are? Chances are, the weirdos/assholes don't think they are either. So that's why the message goes out to all men.

30 minutes was just an example. The point was that in some instances, you drop it in there and they get all pissy that you talked to them at all if you had a boyfriend. Like I said, these are clearly unstable people. But it happens enough that it is a "thing".

I’m actually fine with the argument as long as women recognize that men and women are equal but not the same.
Men get hit on/“groped” by ugly, strange women - Lord knows I could pull up some desperate Facebook messenger chats from some beastly ladies who couldn’t take a hint. Or recount some times on a dance floor I’ve had some fat chick grab my arse or otherwise touch me when I’ve not wanted them to. (That’s not to say I’m some stud or something - but if has happened. I also acknowledge that men are far more often the culprit.)
Yet... I would never consider it harassment or “creepy”, I guess because at the end of the day I feel like I have nothing to fear from them. They are women, and I have the size advantage 99.99% of the time, unless they have a concealed weapon in their rompers or are military special forces operatives.
It’s irritating when feminists want it both ways. “I’m helpless and victimized and yet at the same time empowered and entirely equal.”
Those women can’t STFU. There is a huge victimhood crisis in America where everyone is looking for some way they’ve been shorted that makes them “strong” for having overcome it or makes them entitled to something they haven’t otherwise earned. These fakers drown out the REAL oppressed people.
