not against it. bigger liberal fish to fry. BUT:

you can do whatever the frick you want with each other in your bedroom, but keep that shite in your bedroom.
i don't want to see it or hear about it. and i wouldn't expect you to want to hear or see about what me and my wife do in the bedroom.

So we made it to about page 4 before a dumb dumb stepped up to the plate.

I have to admit, thought this kind of post would have came by page 2.

I 100% don’t care if two dudes want to get married. I also don’t care if a chick wants to marry her vibrator or dog or chair so the slippery slope argument doesn’t work for me either.

Not sure what your issues are but perhaps your medical coverage will cover it.

And no I would not rather them go without parents. Bad assumption on your part.

Go back to whatever you were doing. And don't be an arse.

What is so dumb about his opinion? Advertising anal exploits in grammar school to young impressionable children is probably not right in most people's opinion. Just because this poster's opinion isn't quite as left as your own does not mean it is without merit.

I like how you call it a sin and then esteem the couple who invented sinning

C: it seems as though everywhere one turns, it's being put in our faces. Gay marriage this and gay marriage that.

Probably because we're in a transitory period. If it was widely accepted then no one would be putting it in your faces all the time

If they are two adults who cares, I am against the government forcing a church to marry gay people if it's against the churches religious doctrine.

I have no moral objection to gay marriage. It's honestly not something a think a lot about. What I am sick of, and I'm sure it's been mentioned in this thread, is the gay agenda. Where its not good enough to accept the gay lifestyle; we have to enthusiastically support the gay lifestyle, and participate whether we want to or not. Its tiring.

I’m against it because I don’t believe in pretending that homosexual unions are equivalent to heterosexual ones.

Regardless of what they call themselves, no gay couples are actually married.

But yeah, I'm against it. It's detrimental to society.

Not really. You don't wanna marry a dude? Fine, don't. No one is forcing you.

Having kids out of wedlock and a divorce rate sitting at about 50% are both more detrimental to society than two dudes or two chicks who want to get married.

Disagree. We have got to start drawing some hard lines and stop normalizing behavior that is quite frankly serious mental illness.

And if you disregard religious reasons, what is the issue? The government isn't a church.

come on downvotes above.

explain why me being okay with gay marriage is fine with you ; but you not being able to rub your gayness in my face in public is a problem for you.

Does it approve marriages?
Does it base it's rules on some morality?
Does it teach children?
Does it take a tithe(tax)?

Idk, sure seems like it to me...

I thought marriage is about a legal piece of paper which has financial implications?

It is, in the sense of the government legalizing it.

What these ridiculous anti-gay marriage people don't seem to realize is that legalizing it doesn't mean the government is going to force their backwoods baptist church to start marrying gays under the eyes of their god.

It is just so they can enter into a marriage contract and have the financial benefits like insurance, power of attorney, spousal privilege, etc.

I'm gay. I agree with you 100%.

Most gays and lesbians are way too militant and in your face about being gay. Whatever you give them is never enough. They want more.

I don't really want people in my business either way. You don't like my life decisions? Fine. I really don't care. I don't like your life decisions. You don't care? Fine. Move on.

Not all of us are crazy. Some of us just want to live our lives and concern ourselves with real problems: jobs, economy, national security and who's night it is to load the fricking dishwasher.
