Well a woman in that scenario is either using sex transactionally to trap a guy for her own reasons or was no longer sexually attracted to the previous partner for one of a number reasons, but I’m not sure how either scenario is the fault of the man unless he let himself go or completely lost his masculinity.

I don’t think they will.
The issue is based on data women only find 10-20% of men attractive.
So the women who can’t get one of the top 10-20% men they want in some cases are just settling in their mind for someone they dont find physically attractive because they provide wealth, protection, partnership or out of fear of being alone.
Then you overlay with the data that shows half of women by 50 would be basically celibate if left to their own devices and you’ve got a big “market economics” issue where supply isn’t equal to demand so to speak.
So a bunch of women are just having sex because they feel obligated and once they get married they often decide it’s not worth the effort so they basically stop or make it an issue.
I’m a millennial but I’ve talked to too many older married guys who after drinks complain about it and women who are joking with each other about “having” to have sex with their husbands for it not to be a real issue.

Yes.
What’s the point of a marriage if intimacy dies? Having someone to live with? Life’s too short, plenty of women out there that like to have sex just as much as you.

I have multiple friends who are in the single digits per year. For me that would be grounds for divorce. If all I wanted was a rommate, I could find several that would nag me a lot less.

It really is wild what hormones can do. A few months ago my 40 year old wife got put on some cream she rubs on her leg once a week and she's been absolutely insatiable since then. If I was a betting person, probably some form of Testorone. TRT can be a thing for women, much lower dose than men. Same effects to libido.
Female Viagra is coming soon as a cream, but that is rubbed on the "target" area for increased blood flow, thus arousal. Lasts only hours. You can get it now from some doctors off label, look up scream cream.
TRT is probably best option for women, which will usually be pellets and not cream.
Research needs to be put around PT -141 more for women. Probably feminists holding that back

It depends. It could mean that there are bigger issues at play and counseling, and communication could solve it. I'm chronically online, and in doing so I discovered the subreddit dead bedroom.
Some of the stories I've read are just depressing. People suffer dead bedroom for a myriad of reasons, and as a result, affairs happened.
