marital quality
will keep you married in sexless old age or with physical issues/disabilities

People are not likely to stay just for sex if there is no marital quality.

In some relationships, lack of sex can have medical or hormonal causes, it doesn't automatically mean that your partner is cheating or that you need to break up.

My situation was different and it ended in divorce for many reasons, not just because of intimacy. At that time, I worked with the Virginia Family Law Center Center in Virginia to resolve the legal side and child custody, because things had become complicated and I needed someone to put everything in legal order. If there is still a chance, it is worth checking the medical side and having honest discussions between you before making big decisions. However, if there are real issues related to responsibilities or the safety of the children, then legal help becomes important.

What if the lack of sex stems from her health. We still have sex but only when her health is in a good place. When her health issues aren’t under control I’m on my own and it’s getting harder to be faithful am I wrong for thinking more and more about going to someone else when this happens.

Dumbass.

I hope she finds out thru somebody you know snitching on you and files for divorce and hires the best divorce attorney in town and absolutely takes you to the cleaners for being an unfaithful, weak, degenerate, low-life, sex-addicted, trashy piece of shite who decided the "in sickness" part of the vows didn't apply his retarded arse.

You're assuming his wife has something valid like cancer or something. It's far more likely it's the litany of excuses that white women give, like headaches, stomach aches, gas, depression, etc.

My wife has delivered 2 kids and is 59. We have been bumping uglies since she was 20 and I was 22. She was as sexy if not more so this morning when I left her warm body and kissed her goodbye as she was when she was 20 and her tits pointed skyward and you could bounce pennies off her belly. She is my wife, best friend, mother of my kids and has my back no matter what. We have laughed and cried together, we have cussed one another for anything other than a child of god, we have been broke, we have had money....she knows me better than I know myself and I am the same person for her....that is sexier than ANY physical characteristic of female sexuality. If you aren't as physically attracted to your wife after 38 years as you were the day you first saw her I feel badly for both of you....

Can I get an Amen!

Not headache or I’m too tired. Also she’s not white. Not that it matters.

Well, it does for the sake of my argument. Latinas want the D even if they're throwing up every 20 minutes. White chicks (not mine) split a nail and will use it as an excuse not to.

I think the bold part is the nub of the matter. Plenty of men, and women, ruin marriages through selfish behavior. The difference is that the selfish women have men who still want to frick them.

Outside of money I think no sex is the main cause of divorce.

My wife was on an IUD for 5 years after our second child. We probably had sex 5 times in 5 years. A month after removing the IUD, she became a totally different person. She wants it much more than I do and gets very upset when we go more than two days without. She's been off BC for 8 years and says she's never getting back on it.

That had to have bred some resentment on your end--unconscious or not.

How so when she starts banging her new man within months.

Well a woman in that scenario is either using sex transactionally to trap a guy for her own reasons or was no longer sexually attracted to the previous partner for one of a number reasons, but I’m not sure how either scenario is the fault of the man unless he let himself go or completely lost his masculinity.

The number of women who are openly transactional with sex (reward/bait/training for men) rather than as an expression of love in a romantic way is very high from bar conversations with coworkers and friends. Like it’s a big joke among some women groups.

Then you also have the women who for health/hormonal/perimenopausal reasons simply are or become near/asexual. I’ve read that number for women is something like 50% at age 50.
Hopkins: Sex after Menopause

Women typically want sex for validation or control, men require it for other reasons.
