I don’t understand cutting grass that early, the dew is still on the grass so it just clumps up in the mower

Not where I live. City ordinance says from April 1 to October 31 you can start yard work at 6 am on weekdays and 7 am on weekends.

I am fortunate to live in a neighborhood of mostly retired military. They are up early and all yards are 1+ acre. We all start mowing at 6:30 when the weather is hot to avoid the heat of the day. Nobody gets mad.
